There are opportunities along the supply chain where containers can play a role
that doesn’t depend on timely delivery. This could be on low-volume trade lanes
where container or storage resources are scarce. There are also times when you need
to know your container fleet is sufficient to meet tight delivery demand or that
capacity is guaranteed on a specific route at a specified time.
Wherever in the
world you need containers, and for whatever reason, Équipe Trading can guarantee
you have them. Whether you need containers:
• To meet unexpected or seasonal demand
that can’t be delayed.
• For storage, rental, construction, workspace or some other
need where a container fits your or your customer’s specific need.
Whatever size
container you need, at origin points around the globe, Équipe Trading is the service that
can provide ISO inspected containers that meet CW and IICL5 standards.
Équipe leasing specializes primarily in the ownership and leasing of standard intermodal
dry freight containers. We lease containers to lessees under traditional short-term
leases, long-term leases and finance leases.
• Short-term leases provide lessees with the ability to lease containers
either for a fixed term of less than one year or without a fixed term on an as-needed
basis, with flexible pick-up and drop-off of containers at depots worldwide.
• Long-term leases cover a specified number of containers that will be on
lease for a fixed period of time, usually 3 to 5 year terms. Long term lease customers
have a single pick up point and multiple redelivery locations at the end of the
lease term.
• Finance leases are long-term lease contracts that grant the lessee the
right to purchase the container at the end of the term.
Équipe also concentrates its leasing efforts on the US portable storage industry.
Through Équipe's unique container supply
and logistic relationships, we are able to solve two major challenges affecting
portable storage companies:
Challenge. High cost of drayage associated with container supply.
Drayage, the cost of transportation from the depot to the portable storage company
yard, can be typically cost between 10% and 50% of the container value.
Solution. Équipe supplies 20’ and 40’ wind and water tight ISO cargo
containers anywhere in the US and Canada, eliminating the need for portable storage
companies to pick up containers at a depot. In most locations, this delivery service is included at no additional cost.
More
Challenge. High capital investment required for fleet expansion. With
the purchase cost of used shipping containers averaging today over $2000 per 40’
unit at a depot (and prior to refurbishment), capital investment is significant
when planning for growth.
Solution. Équipe’s unique financing options allow portable
storage companies to eliminate their initial investment in purchasing containers.
